Once again this year, the Sand Nativity returns!
The event is organized by the Dome Aghe Savalon d’Aur Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro and local associations.

On the seafront of Lignano Sabbiadoro, under the large marquee, the artists of the Sand Academy will once again bring to life an extraordinary representation of the Nativity — entirely sculpted from sand.

This year’s theme is “Mary, in the name of women.”
A feminine journey through the Gospels up to our own time, where the figure of women plays an important role in society and in the world.
The protagonist is Mary, a figure who spans the centuries and becomes ever more relevant, continually renewing herself through the gaze of artists and the public.
