Lignano Sabbiadoro capital of the salsa!

For the first year on the friulian beach takes place the Lignano Salsa Festival, a Latin-America festival, where everyone can take part: professionals, enthusiasts, curious.

Many workshops with internationally renowned dancers of Salsa, Bachata, Afro Cuban, Kizomba, Brazilian, AfroBeatz, Reggaeton, Flamenco, Merengue, Cumbia and more. Thursday from 16.00 in Piazza Marcello d'Olivo you can discover the various Latin styles with dance sessions of 30 minutes.

There will be also live concerts with the best artists and DJ sets, as well as the parties in special locations: Arena Alpe Adria, Terrazza a Mare, Beach Arena, Villaggio Los Nidos and Sabbiadoro Beach Bar in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Kursaal Club and Piazza Marcello d'Olivo in Lignano Pineta.

Here is the program of the 1st Lignano Salsa Festival:

We start already on Monday 22, with some event:
at 20:00 welcome cocktail with Latin music and DJ set in Terrazza a Mare in Lignano Sabbiadoro.

Tuesday 23 May internships for Latin American dances from 10:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 17:00 at the Beach Bar Sabbiadoro. After that, up to 01:00 Latin night with DJ sets, entertainment, cocktails and buffets.  

Wednesday 24 May boat trip to Venice with dj's festival. Participation is voluntary and the trip will last the whole day. For those who decide not to participate and to stay in Lignano the animation team will be available for courses and dances. There is also the opportunity to spend the day by taking advantage of discount stores that adhere to the promotion, characterized by the adhesive LSF. At 21:00 Dinner (optional) at the Terrazza a Mare with DJ set.

Thursday 25 starts the real event until Sunday 28!

Thursday 25 May from 11.00 to 13.00 there is the Salsa Boat Party: a boat party with DJs, departing from the port of Lignano up to Terrazza a Mare.
From 13.30 to 15.00 the Welcome Coktail awaits you in Terrazza a Mare with the presentation of all artists of the Lignano Salsa Festival and from 16.00 to 20.00 in Piazza Marcello d'Olivo there are the workshops open to all: Teach me Now!
At 21.00 starts the party with the concert of the band "Cubanama" and entertainment with artists and DJs of the festival until late at night. Then, everybody in disco to dance until dawn.

Friday 26 May the day starts at 11.00 with workshops hold by teachers and artists of the Lignano Salsa Festival until 16.00. Then we move to the beach of Kursaal Club in Lignano Pineta for Beach Party until 18.00. A very fast dinner, because at 20.30 we can't miss the concert of the band Mercadonegro. From 23.00 to 01.00 we can dance on the beach with the best DJs and then again in disco for the Latino Night Clubing.

Saturday 27 May workshops from 11.00 to 16.00 and after the Spritz Party is ready at the Kursaal Club from 16.00 to 18.00. Transfer to the Arena Alpe Adria in Lignano Sabbiadoro another concert of Mercadonegro from 19.00 to 23.30. For those who want to continue the party, the Latino Night Clubing is in the disco.

Sunday 28 May, last day for the workshop from 11.00 to 16.00 and to say goodby to all participants, teachers, artists and organizers, from 16.00 to 21.00 at Sabbiadoro Beach Bar there will be the BBQ Pool Party! Giant barbecue, dancing and entertainment around the pools of Sabbiadoro Beach Bar, for the latest party: Last Night Pool.
