Every year the program of the Christmas time in Lignano offers a lot of events to enjoy this period in the seaside resort in a special atmosphere.

The ice rink will be on Piazza Fontana for the first time and will surround the big Christmas tree! It will be the largest circular skating rink in the Northeast.

These are the opening times of the rink:

7-8 December from 10.30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
9-12 December from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm to 8 pm
13-14-15 December from 10.30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
16-19 December from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm to 8 pm
From 20 December to 6 January from 10.30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

In addition, in the heart of Lignano Pineta there will be a wonderful Christmas island!

In Piazza del Sole there will be a small Christmas market and a beautiful play area for children with merry-go-round with seats and a bouncy castle.
There will be also a particular Sand Crib, symbol of Lignano.

If you don't want to move the car from Pineta to Sabbiadoro and vice versa, you can take advantage of the train Lignano Express, that provides free service between the two Christmas areas of Lignano!

The area will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on all days (except 25/12 and 01/01 when they will open at 2.30 p.m.).
On 21 December, Pineta will come alive with the Krampus parade, for which the houses will remain open until 9 pm.

Villaggio del Gusto

From December 7th to January 6th you will find in Parco San Giovanni Bosco und Viale Tolmezzo in Lignano Sabbiadoro Villaggio del Gusto (the Lignano Christmas Food Village)!
The typical white wooden houses will offer street food during the Christmas time with live DJ Set every day.
A different way to eat and drink with friends in a funny atmosphere nearby the beach and the Sand Nativity.

Even in Parco San Giovanni Bosco there will also be houses that will also offer Christmas objects.

Lignano Sand Nativity

The Sand Nativity of Lignano takes always the lion's share: every year is a surprise with hundreds of cubic meters of sand from the beach in Lignano turned into a work of art.
The works of the artists of the sand start already in mid-November under the large tensioned structure, which opens its doors as tradition the weekend of December 7th. It is not only the Nativity scene, but a complex studied scenario, which every time focuses the attention on a different theme.

In addition to the Taste of Christmas Village, the market and the Sand Nativity, Santa Claus' Village will return to San Giovanni Bosco Park! Lots of games, lots of lights, Santa's house and fun for all!
