The magic of Christmas returns to Lignano Sabbiadoro with a rich program of events, lights, and enchanting holiday atmosphere!
Once again, “Natale d’A…mare” will fill the town with unforgettable moments of joy, tradition, and seaside charm for residents and visitors alike.

The beating heart of the celebrations will be Piazza Fontana, where the grand Christmas tree — a symbol of joy and togetherness — will stand tall. Around it, a circular ice-skating rink will welcome both adults and children for festive fun throughout the holiday season.

Christmas Taste Village
After the great success of past editions, the Christmas Taste Village returns with its charming white wooden chalets and an irresistible selection of street food: warm sandwiches, fries, mixed fried seafood, traditional Friulian dishes, sweet treats, and drinks for every taste — from mulled wine to craft beer.
Inside the village, visitors will also find the Christmas Market, perfect for buying decorations, small gifts, or cozy winter accessories.

Santa’s Village
A magical world dedicated to children, featuring rides, lights, games, creative workshops, and of course, Santa’s House, where little ones can meet the most beloved figure of the holidays!

New for 2025: Beach Office No. 5 turns Christmas-themed!
This year, the beach transforms into a winter wonderland: lights, decorations, and Christmas music will bring a festive spirit to Beach Office No. 5.
Visitors can enjoy a warm drink at the Beach Bar while admiring the winter sea under a canopy of twinkling lights.

he Sand Nativity – 22nd Edition
A must-see event and a symbol of Lignano’s art and tradition.
Inside the covered tent structure on the beach, you can admire spectacular sand sculptures created by the artists of the Academy of Sand.
Admission is free, but donations are welcome, and visitors can purchase postcards and calendars featuring the stunning nativity scenes.

Grand Finale: The Pignarul and the Befana from the Sea
On January 6 at 5:30 p.m., the traditional Pignarul bonfire will light up the beach in front of Beach Office No. 5, marking the end of the Christmas season.
The Befana from the Sea will arrive to hand out sweets and candies to all the good children — a joyful finale to the holiday festivities.
