Also this year, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October, Lignano hosts the Lignano Bike Marathon, a mountain bike route in Hemingway Park in Pineta.

Saturday 5th there will be the event ‘Laroste Gravel - Discovering the hinterland’: two gravel routes, one of 130 and the other of 70 km, among the most beautiful landscapes of the Friulian lowlands and the lagoon of Marano.

Sunday 6 will be race day: ‘Lignano Bike Marathon’ will take place along the entire city, alternating stretches on sand, in the pine forest, river and lagoon, also passing through private areas open to the public especially for the race. The route includes 2 laps.

Next to the race, we have as tradition also the amateur event: the ecological bike ride, with a single lap of 30 km to be covered at your own speed and that offers the opportunity to admire the nature of Lignano.
