The "Ranieri International TUNA CUP 1st Trophy city of Lignano Sabbiadoro", whose first edition will take place on the coast in front of the beach of Lignano Sabbiadoro (Ud) between 8 and 10 May 2015, is a manifestation of "Big Game Fishing", valid for the qualification to the final of the Italian drifting tuna.

Organizer of the trophy is the ASD (ASD) "Lignano Tuna Club": born in 1993 from the ideas and passion shared by a handful of friends who practiced deep sea fishing (the "Big Game Fishing" of Americans) since 80s.
At the start of the new prestigious trophy and there are in fact as many as 50 teams, for a total of 200 Italian athletes. 

The program:

• May 8, 2015 reception and briefing of the crews, followed by a public procession through the streets of Lignano Sabbiadoro until the central Piazza Fontana;
• May 9, 2015 sports competition, followed by a gala dinner;
• May 10, 2015 awards ceremony at the conclusion of the competition.
