On Saturday, August 29, great athletics returns to Lignano with Fly on the Beach!

Piazza Marcello D’Olivo will host the international pole vault event, part of the Events Athletic Promotion (EAP) circuit and organized by ASD Lupignanum Track and Field.

In the beautiful setting of the square, just steps from the sea, athletes from different categories will compete in pole vaulting. There will also be a special moment dedicated to children, promoting both this athletics discipline and vortex throwing.

Here is the programme:

• 4:00 PM (entry at 3:00 PM): Group 1
• 5:30 PM (meeting at 5:00 PM): Fly Kids – A special event featuring pole vault and vortex throwing, dedicated to primary school children.
• 7:00 PM: Group 2
• 9:30 PM: TOP Competition – A high-level challenge featuring the 6 best male athletes and the 6 best female athletes.
