In Lignano starts the Festa delle Cape, the traditional fish festival that marks the starts of the spring in the Adriatic seaside resort.

For two weekends, the fisher association will offer in Piazza Marcello D'Olivo, facing the beach in Lignano Pineta, typical fish dishes. This festival is very appreciated in Lignano and every year attracts many people, that can spend beautiful sunny days enjoying very good food.

The Festa delle Cape is born in 1984 by the initiative of some fishermen and then brought forward by the Association A.P.S. "Al Mare" in Lignano.
